Display those DIV's...

Here's a pretty cool tool... I found this out in cyberspace some time ago and have recently ressurrected it.  I'm finally catching up with the times and using CSS and DIV's more and TABLE's less.  This tool been especially helpful for hacking templates for my TypePad blog.

MT Template Tags

This is a pretty cool browser plugin for creating roll-your-own templates using a MovableType or TypePad blog.  It's a Template Tags Bookmarklet plugin from the folks at movalog.com.

It supports several browsers and is easy to install.  I'm finding it super useful for creating new hacks or modifying existing templates to look the way I want them.

TypePad Hack: Top Menu

I've come up with a fairly simple way to include a menu on a TypePad blog site.  You'll need to be subscribed to TypePad Pro to use it as it involves creating a Template Module and editing several Index Modules.  It's fairly simple and you can easily modify it to suit your own needs.
