Nighthawks

NighthawksNighthawks (1942) is a painting by Edward Hopper that portrays people sitting in a downtown diner late at night. It is not only Hopper's most famous painting, but also one of the most recognizable in American art. It is currently in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Recently, Madison Talon, a friend of mine from Second Life, was privileged to appear in a short film (machinima) depicting the famous painting. The producer Frankie Rockett captured the lonely tone of the diner scene perfectly. Very impressive!
